STATION #4 - Timeline

Tasque:

1) Create a new slide and name it "Timeline"

2) Remember, the year is 1939 -- what was happening in the world during that time? Do a wee bit of research and briefly describe that on your slide (no cut and paste please... not ever)

3) What was happening in the Pacific at that time?

4) Why was it so important to get from California to the Phillipine Islands (capital city is Manilla) or China at that time?

Now please write a journal entry in your 'diary' that talks about the schedule/timeline of your flight. You will be going to some exotic (Hawaii!) and remote (Midway Island, Wake Island) destinations. Also, certain legs of your trip will be much longer than others.

Please keep in mind these are not bulletted notes, but part of your written diary as if you were actually there on the trip, or perhaps just completed your journey.
