STATION #2 - Technical Specifications

Pan Am flew a whole bunch of different Flying Boats in the 1930's. Each model got bigger and bigger and flew farther and farther. We are interested in the very last and most luxurious version, the Boeing 314.

Tasque:

Create a new slide and title it "Technical Specifications"

Please do research and determine at LEAST the following technical specifications for that plane:

  • Name of the Plane

  • Manufacturer

  • Engine Specifications

  • Plane Specifications:

    • Altitude

    • Range

    • Speed

  • Find other interesting technical tid-bits and add those to your slide too!

Now please write a journal entry in your 'diary' that discussed the varoius technical specifications of your plane. Consider how it must have been on the trip... how loud was it inside the cabin? How did the plane fly? Did you get air sick? Any sorts of things like that will make this journal item come alive.

Please keep in mind these are not bulletted notes, but part of your written diary as if you were actually there on the trip, or perhaps just completed your journey.
