Sig Figs |
Use the same methods we developed in class. Generally speaking 2 - 4 sig figs work fine as long as you wait until the end of your calculations to round up or down. |
|
Understanding and interpreting the questions on the AP Exam is absolutely critical. To wit: |
| Calculate: Show all your work including units |
| Derive: Begining with known formulas, show in a step-by-step manner how you would determine the required expression |
| Graph: Make a pretty graph, be sure to include the title, x and y axis labels and any important parts of the graph (eg slope is increasing, decreasing or zero) |
| Sketch: Quick and dirty graph that shows you understand the basic trend of the data. X & Y axis labels are not required (but are a good idea) |
